6.1 To be eligible for membership on our website under this Section 6, you must have been approved by the European Study Group on Lysosomal Diseases board to become either: a member group, an associate member group or an honorary member.
6.2 You may register for an account with our website by completing and submitting the account registration form on our website. Approval for membership is made by the European Study Group on Lysosomal Diseases board.
6.3 To be approved by the European Study Group on Lysosomal Diseases board for membership you must:
(a) Be based in the wider European area, (unless approved as an associate member).
(b) Be a laboratory, clinical or diagnostic group actively engaged in work on Lysosomal Storage Diseases.
(c) Not be a commercial enterprise or work mainly for a commercial enterprise.
(d) In the case of Associate member applicants, you must have substantive links to European Study Group on Lysosomal Diseases member groups
(e) In the case of honorary members, the European Study Group on Lysosomal Diseases board reserves the right to identify and invite individuals to become honorary members at its full discretion.
6.4 You may allow other people in your group to use your account to access the membership areas but you take full responsibility for their activity and any actions they take on the website.
6.5 You must notify us in writing immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
6.6 You agree to allow your supplied contact details to be made available on the ESGLD members areas for the purpose of collaboration with other member groups and their individual members including staff and students. Your details will not be shared with third parties.
6.7 On occasion we will send newsletter style emails to alert you to new events and news related to the ESGLD. You agree to receive these emails. If you wish to not receive these emails you agree that you will contact the website administrator to arrange removal from the mailing list.
7. User login details
7.1 If you register for an account with our website you will be asked to choose a user ID and password.
7.2 Your user ID must not be liable to mislead and must comply with the content rules set out in Section 10; you must not use your account or user ID for or in connection with the impersonation of any person.
7.5 You must notify us in writing immediately if you become aware of any disclosure of your password.
7.6 You are responsible for any activity on our website arising out of any failure to keep your password confidential, and may be held liable for any losses arising out of such a failure.
8. Cancellation and suspension of account
